Say hey to The Cannabis Report, a new blog started by my friend Ann Harrison, a long time member of the reform community. She's just getting started over there, but she's off to a great start and has fresh details on the Kubby case.

Kubby is now in the Placer County Jail and word has it he will be receiving Marinol. Since his cancer is so rare, there's no telling whether relacing the natural herb with the synthetic substitute will save his life. I doubt there have been clinical tests done on his disease. We live in hope that it does.

Meanwhile, Media Awareness Project reports supporters are being asked to email DA Christopher Cattran and Sheriff Edward N. Bonner asking them to make medical marijuana available to Kubby under the state laws. Kubby's arrest information can be found here.
