Happy Train Day
I'm told today is National Train Day. The love of trains runs deep in my family, especially with my Dad, so these youtubes are for him.
And the video on this is boring, but it's one of my favorite Harry Nilsson songs, Nobody Cares About the Railroads Anymore.

Dad does love those steam engines. I miss the sound of the steam whistle blowing as the train neared a crossing. Sounds of our childhood gone forever I guess.
I can still hear train whistles in the distance here but I doubt if it's a steam engine anymore.
