Ecstasy shown to relieve Parkinsons

This is interesting. Fox News reports on a new study that showed ecstasy relieved the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. They're not sure why it worked. It apparently affects dopamine levels using a different neural pathway than the customary drugs currently being used.

Researches caution it appears the amount of the drug required for relief would probably be at toxic levels for human use but are hopeful the discovery will inspire new lines of research into the disease.
