My couple of my pals have been posting some great stories lately. That's nothing new for them but it's been too long since I visited the Bunker where Anthony Lappe of GNN has an interesting entry on the CIA and drugs. GNN put together a great video on the subject, Crack the CIA, some time ago. Detractors still like to sneeringly dismiss the allegations as conspiracy theory however, the guys present a compelling case proving the USA's involvement in drug smuggling during the Iran/Contra war. They have just unearthed new documents to further make their case.

While you're there, check the rest of their excellent website. Anthony and his partner Stephen Marshall's frequent dispatches in From the Bunker are always a good read and the site is always on top of the breaking world news our government does not want you to notice.

For instance, there's this story on the Bush administration using your tax dollars through the Dept. of Health and Human Services to make barely legal infomercials to sell their completely flawed new Medicare Law. They hired actors to pose as journalists who pretend to be conducting interviews on the subject.

And there's also this amusing piece this week containing quotes from George Bush and his cast of supporting thugs called Eating Their Words, that Bush and Co. hope we forgot.

Keep an eye on the site for announcements of their upcoming book and a new video, due to released soon, containing footage from their three weeks on the devastated ground in Iraq, shot shortly after the war "ended."
