Here's a distinction that's difficult to achieve. Julia Roberts (no, not that one), was arrested for possession of crack cocaine. Yeah, we know anyone can do that, what's different is Ms. Roberts is 96 years old. Smoking Gun has the story along with the police report.

MARCH 11--We're not sure if anyone keeps track of such things, but Julia Roberts may be the country's oldest alleged crack dealer. The 96-year-old North Carolina woman--that's right, 96--was busted Monday along with a few younger relatives/cohorts for running a drug operation out of her home. As noted on the below Cleveland County Sheriff's Office report, Roberts is facing a felony distribution charge and a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia count.

At 5'4" and 165 lbs, I expect this granny may be quite a little dynamo in spite of the prosthetic leg but at that age, chances are she may not have even realized the family was dealing drugs.

One wonders how she will fare under the mandatory minimum sentencing structure.
