Quick bytes

I have to leave for work so here's some reading material to get you through the day.

It appears that police misconduct knows no borders. The Canadians find their local enforcement is not immune to questionable tactics to nail a bust.

This Canadian site takes on pot and driving. It appears they took their PR lessons from the ONDCP. They also have dumb ads that will do nothing for deterrence. But for those who remember the Canadian American pilots who were busted for friendly fire on Canadians after being pumped up on government provided speed, there's this modified version.

Cop corruption knows no boundaries. Fifteen kilos by the way is over 30 pounds.

A doctor complains on the cumbersome procedures required to prescribe medical marijuana.

Snarky book reviews on books that seem worth reading.

And a thoughtful column on legalizing drugs.
