Ride 'em cowboy

Sorry about the unexplained absence yesterday. I got tied up with the family until quite late and simply burned out before I got here. To make up for it, I have a delicious link to news of our favorite cowboy, Howard Wooldridge and his indefatigable horse Misty with some great photos.

The pair limped into Denver this weekend and will be there for a few days, resting up for the next leg of the trip. Although they're both feeling their age this time around, it appears they're holding up well and making news along the route. And don't you love the new t-shirt? I think it looks better in black.

They're 1,400 miles into the trip and on schedule, with only 2,200 more to go to make it to NYC by October 1st. You can follow their progress on the map and of course, get the little details from the road on Howard's personal blog. If you live along his route, be sure to catch up with them and don't be afraid to bring the press with you. If you can offer a hardworking cowboy and his horse a meal and a bed - all the better.
