The piece below at Talk Left also featured a rather spirited discussion in the comments section. I especially liked this turn of words on legalization as opposed to the prohibition inspired black market.

So, here is the real question. Who do you want selling drugs in your community. A criminal who is almost completely unacountable for his actions, or a government sanctioned retailer who can be shut down if he sells the wrong thing to the wrong person?
