GETTING OUT THE VOTE

Thanks to Al Giordano, who is back posting after returning from his as yet unexplained journey to the Andes, with a link to early results from the Maine presidential primary. Al also posts Part One of his promised Activist's Guide to Kerry as Frontrunner. He offers an informative review of the Marijuana Policy Project's effectiveness in bringing the issue of medical marijuana to the forefront in New Hampshire and offers his analysis on the next steps.

For me, the big news was the strong showing at third of my man Kucinich with 15% of the vote. I'm not even really thinking much about Kerry yet. Last One Speaks still stands with Drug War Rant in full support of Dennis all the way to Boston and at this late hour I send you to Pete's review of Kucinich's positions on drugs and civil liberties, and Pete's reasoning on why a Kucinich vote counts for reform in the primaries.

Talk Left also posted a really well produced video worth watching today on Kucinich and the Drug War. The earthy soundtrack alone is worth the time.

And in case you missed Bush's appearance on Meet the Press this morning, (I did), TL was kind enough to post a link to the transcript and related commentary. I may have something to say about the interview in the morning.
